Sea Cadets SS Uganda 1982

`We flew form Gatwick to Malta and there we went to Alexandria-Rhodes- Izmir- Heraklion- Itea-Split then home.

I stayed in Grenfell Dorm. along with Bob, Fordie and a few others.

Got to know the girls well, Carolyn Horne from Port Seaton, Scotland, Sarah and Caroline from St Helier Jersey,
Pauline, Fiona from Crawley.

Had a force 9 gale in middle of Med. Everyone was heaving...the smell was horrendous and toilets full,
had full day in Cairo ( museum and pyramids) and worked for two weeks in galley..`
